A monk and martial arts master who saved Pei Nai's life and granted her rebirth. He taught her the Ten Thousand Hatreds Palm and Fixed Light Compassion Palm, techniques lost to the martial world for nearly two hundred years. He drugged Pei Nai with tea and sent her back, saying someone was waiting for her. He is believed by some to be the legendary Zhong Chuan himself, or possibly his successor Jingjue. He left before dawn after paying for both rooms at the teahouse.
