An elderly man, husband of Elder Madam Cheng. He is seen deboning fish and is indulgent toward his wife, always complying with her requests. He once gathered wild red berries and wild honey for his wife when they were young, getting stung by bees in the process. He is described as a stubborn old coot who denies how similar the hawthorn and strawberry dish tastes to those red berries.
