Abbot of Pudu Temple and master of Jiang Yufeng. He is portrayed as having a teasing personality, as shown when he jokes about giving away polished prayer beads made from valuable qinan and offering only the leftover scraps to Jiang Yufeng as a wedding gift. He is respected and revered, with Jiang Yufeng addressing him as Master. He has three disciples who helped Ye Ximeng pick tea by calling over more than ten young novices.
