Duan Qingyu's father and head of the Duan family. He is described with disgust by Duan Qingyu who refuses to call him father. He is involved in the Haitang Bay project and has promised Duan Qingyu everything his mother left behind. He is also helping Duan Youcheng despite the late patriarch's wishes.
