Also known as Old Madam or Lady Guan, she is the matriarch of the Anyuan Houfu and Wei Qingyan's grandmother. She is revealed to be a venomous-hearted woman who sold her own three-year-old granddaughter to a brothel, poisoned her daughter-in-law (causing early death), poisoned her son (leaving him weak and dying with regret), and harmed her daughter-in-law Lady Fang, turning her into a Guiyuan. In her youth, she had a relationship with the Late Emperor (Brother Shi), became pregnant, and was forced to abort under his orders, which rendered her unable to bear children. She was then married off to Du Changyuan with the support of the Xie family of Wuyi Xiang.
