Also called An'er, a three-year-old boy, the son of Yun Shu and Du Jingsheng. In the original novel, he died on the exile journey. Yun Shu promises to protect him and arranges for Qiu Yiniang to care for him temporarily while she handles her divorce and dowry matters.
