Originally named Danü, she was bought by Shangguan Jin from the roadside at age ten while selling herself to bury her father. She became one of Shangguan Jin's four major maids after showing loyalty and bravery. She was later persuaded by Old Madam Shangguan to become a concubine of Dingguogong. She is loyal, straightforward, and physically resilient.
