Doctor Niu

The village doctor who is dragged out of bed in the middle of the night by Zhu Erhu. He examines Fang Lanlan and diagnoses her with a high fever from near-drowning, nearly three months pregnant, and tells Zhu Erhu she likely won't survive the night.
