Also known as Gou Dan, an old Taoist who pretended to be a physician and Taoist practitioner. He swindled Mo Beishu with a fake talisman for a hundred taels of gold. After leaving the Prince's Mansion, he fled to Qingfeng Taoist Temple on West Mountain in panic. Temple master Chang Song Zi was furious he swindled royalty but changed his attitude upon hearing about the hundred taels of gold. He was sent to study medical books and dye his hair and beard for the upcoming job.
