A previous wife arranged for Director Wu's mentally ill son. She was incredibly obedient and worked like a slave for their family but was almost beaten to death by the son. Factory workers' families took pity on her, hid her in the factory until she recovered, and helped her escape. Director Wu's family believes she died somewhere outside.
