Also known as Huo Shuyuan, he is Lin Wei's husband and the father of Huo Beiqing and Huo Yuanyuan. He is a hospital director who is not happy about his son's marriage but felt forced to accept it after Xia Ruannuan's father and brother caused a scene at the compound. He is strict with his daughter but feels guilty seeing Xia Ruannuan's injuries. He advises his son to be better to his wife.
