Also known as Ding Shao Ye, he is Master Ding's grandson and the sole heir of the Ding family. He suffers from severe anorexia for two years, making him extremely emaciated—so gaunt he resembles a sheet of paper with his skeletal frame sinking into bedding. His hair has fallen out completely and his eyes appear disproportionately large. He initially refused to see strangers but agreed to cooperate with Sheng An for his grandfather's sake. His digestive system is nearly non-functional and cannot handle high-fat or high-protein foods.
