Female minor character, an elderly woman who was extremely stubborn and did not trust the doctors. She caused a scene at the village committee when her grandson was isolated. She took the infected Dazhuang into the mountains to worship the mountain god instead of seeking medical treatment. She later developed a fever herself but refused medicine. After Dazhuang died, she attacked Wen Zhiyu with a rusted sickle. She was starved into a near-dead state and was forced to accept Dazhuang's cremated ashes.
