An old Daoist practitioner who uses crooked arts and has been hired by Shangguan Yao (through Xueqing) to drive someone mad. He carries a special powder that induces madness when triggered by the scent from his peachwood sword. He has a grandson named Zhi Ye (Ah Ye). He plans to retire after this job and travel the world with his grandson.
