An old Taoist who approached Ye Jintang using Nian Cuilan's token. He taught her how to use a Doll to control Su Yun and Ye Zeyu. He wears a golden Taoist hairpin, white Taoist robe with gray patches on chest and back, and carries a worn cattail-leaf fan. He is a formidable figure specialized in dispelling dark arts and is the sworn enemy of the Daoist who performed Ye Jintang's fate-exchange ritual.
