Yue Yao's deceased husband, also referred to as Elder Brother. He left a will asking Ling Xiao to take good care of Yue Yao. His name is mentioned by Madam Lin who says he would not rest in peace in the afterlife if something had happened to Yue Yao. Ling Xiao claims he has raised Yue Yao well according to his elder brother's wishes.
