He examines Mo Yehan and diagnoses him with depression and possible schizophrenia, which can cause episodes ranging from self-harm to harming others, accompanied by delusional disorders and paranoia. He advises that Mo Yehan needs lots of love to feel secure and that as long as conception happens during non-episode periods, it should be fine for having children.
