A cultivator from the backstory who was the object of the Yaoguai woman's obsession. He was exceptionally steadfast and possessed high-level Daoist arts. He tried repeatedly to force the Gu out, even feeding it his own flesh. He ruthlessly pierced the Yaoguai woman's heart during her onset but later realized he had feelings for her. They ended up together but died on their wedding day.
