Xue Qing's husband, also referred to as Cui Silang. He serves under Xue Shen. The Cui family wanted him to take a concubine but failed. He has a good relationship with Xue Qing despite family pressures. He is anxious about Yu Zhiguang causing trouble for his sister-in-law Xue Qing. He bickers playfully with Xue Qing but they clearly care for each other.
