The Crown Prince and study companion of Chu Yunxuan. He manages commercial enterprises that have earned over one million taels through Chu Yunxuan's management. He requests a minor post for Chu Yunxuan in the Ministry of Revenue but ends up sacrificing nine hundred thousand taels of his private treasury to the Emperor. He is portrayed as financially astute but ultimately outmaneuvered by his father the Emperor.
