The wife of Gu Zheng, one of the three Gu brothers. She is described as a woman of few words and lacks the polished social grace of the eldest sister-in-law Madam Zhu. She traveled in a carriage gifted by the imperial family and suffered from severe motion sickness during the journey to Jinming Lake.
