The old Count of the Golden family, Theresa's uncle. He had three children, two of whom died young, and his only surviving son Young Master Golden also passed away at age 16. Devastated by his son's death, he fell seriously ill and died nine days before Theresa's arrival. He had no brothers, only a cousin whose grandfather was his grandfather's brother. He wrote a letter to his niece Theresa before dying and arranged for inheritance procedures to be completed.
