Also known as Liu Chengzong, he is the father of Liu Shi (Xie Nuer). He previously disowned his own daughter, branding her with disgrace and severing all familial ties. Now, having learned of her elevated status, he greedily returns to the General's Residence, wailing and kowtowing at the gates in an attempt to reclaim her for the wealth and power she now represents. His act of disownment had become known throughout Jinling, and his current performance is viewed with contempt.
