Also referred to as Consort De, she is the current resident of Yonghe Palace and the adoptive mother of the Thirteenth Prince. She is magnanimous and politically astute, allowing Lady Zhangjia to stay in her palace and even permitting her to hold and see Yinxiang. She explains to her maid Jinling that she does not resent the Emperor's favoritism toward Concubine Jin, noting her own rise in rank and her father's position as Commander of the Imperial Guards.
