Also known as Concubine Du, she is Prince Hui/Zhao Sui's adoptive mother. She is described as beautiful but cynical. She disapproves of Yao Huang's boldness in secretly watching her adopted son and interrupts Zhao Sui's quick decision to choose Yao Huang. She insists Zhao Sui should take more time and choose a truly virtuous woman worthy of being a princess.
