He sat beneath a bright mirror in the main hall and heard testimony from Li Suisui and other witnesses. He was furious at the corruption and evil deeds revealed, including tax embezzlement, the destruction of the Chu family, and harm to innocent children. He ordered the imprisonment of Hu Tianmao, Zhou Mingkang, and Yuan Zhiqiang, and accepted Li Suisui's suggestion to exile and tattoo Qiu Mama and Boss Liao.
