Also known as Commander Yuan, the village head who helps Li Luoyu with construction arrangements, work assignments, and connecting her with the carpenter Uncle Yuan Geng. He is pragmatic and somewhat exasperated by Li Luoyu's requests but ultimately agrees to her plans. He assigns work points for the elders and Li Luoyu herself.
