A clerk at the An County yamen. He is famously afraid of his wife and prepared a gift for Song Shiyu as a token of gratitude for her role in the bandit suppression. He expressed that without Song Shiyu, he would have been finished during the operation. He is described as having old bones and being somewhat restrained and silent during official proceedings.
