Luke's father, a native Konoha resident who works as a blacksmith crafting simple ninja tools. He is an honest, reserved man who dragged Luke out of bed at five in the morning to work the forge. He is beginning to feel his age and has been transferring household decision-making authority to his eldest son over the past two years. He witnessed the Nine-Tails attack and feels resistance to his younger son becoming a ninja due to the high mortality rate.
