Father of Chu Shangluo. He keeps a red jade pendant in a safe in his study. When Chu Shangluo was a child, he caught his son playing with the pendant and gave him a hard beating. Chu Shangluo tried to call him on the night of the New Year but the call was not answered. The jade pendant needed by Ren Jiaoming is in his possession.
