Male, also referred to as Dahai or Brother Hai. Husband of Lin Shufen and son of Jia Chunhua. He sprains his ankle in an avalanche and is carried down the mountain on a stretcher/sled. He deeply loves his wife and rushes to her side immediately upon returning. He is the father of the newborn Chu Linyu.
