Also known as the Heir of Prince Gong. Father of Chu Yuan. He is the Emperor's uncle sharing the same imperial lineage. During court, he publicly blamed himself for his son's misbehavior and kowtowed to beg forgiveness. He reprimanded his wife for neglecting Chu Yuan and doting only on the eldest and youngest children. He was publicly reprimanded by the Emperor for failing to educate his family.
