Also referred to as Qin Huai, a chief eunuch steward who serves the Emperor. He felt deep pity and injustice upon seeing the Seventh Prince in his dire condition. He reported everything to Emperor Huiwen and was inwardly pleased when Consort Xian and the Song family were punished for colluding with the Empress to bully Prince Li. He considers himself a rootless creature who can sometimes be a hungry wolf biting enemies at critical moments.
