The Chief Eunuch and most experienced chef in the Imperial Kitchen. He is initially disdainful and dismissive of Jiang Huan, believing imperial consorts are incapable of cooking. He tries to discourage her from making pastries but is eventually won over by her exceptional Egg Yolk Pastry and Pao Fu. He humbly asks to learn her recipes and becomes her apprentice.
