Male, also known as Rong Zhenxing, chief engineer of the dual-core power plant research. He is betrayed by his trusted assistants Dai Chenghua, Xu Haiya, and Wang Quanan, who are foreign spies. He anticipates the betrayal due to prior warning and poisons his gloves to protect the data. He confronts the spies, reveals his poisoned gloves, and knocks them down.
