A physician who was dragged out of bed in the middle of the night by Chahar to examine the unconscious Lin Jiayan. He diagnosed her condition as weakness from the long journey and difficulty adjusting to the local climate. He prescribed nourishing medicine and said she would recover with time and proper care. He complained that Chahar should have been gentler on his wedding night.
