Ruan Zhiyin's old classmate and nemesis from high school. He comes from the powerful Cheng family with vast connections. He had previously tried to win the Beicheng project but lost to Ruan Group. He initially mocks Ruan Zhiyin when she calls him but surprisingly agrees to marry her as a one-year arrangement in exchange for the project. He calls her by her childhood nickname Ruan Yingying and has a long-standing grudge against Qin Jue.
