The protagonist, a 33-year-old successful businesswoman from modern times who transmigrated into the body of an ancient widow named Cheng Wanwan. The original owner was married at 14, had four sons, was widely disliked for being mean, lazy, greedy, and arrogant, was unfilial to her in-laws, mistreated her children and daughter-in-law, and gave all her late husband's pension to her maiden Cheng family.
