Male, Cheng Simian's uncle (nephew of her father). A fourth-year university student who lives in a villa with roommates. He is irritable and reckless but has a soft spot for his niece. He resents his brother (Cheng Simian's father) for taking most of their grandfather's estate and now abandoning Cheng Simian on him. He initially refuses to take her in but eventually gives in. He had a dinner engagement with President Lin and others on the night Cheng Simian arrived.
