Also called Master Cheng, he is a xiucai from the Cheng family who caused trouble ten years ago by filing a lawsuit against the Su family. He claimed his family were descendants of loyal officials oppressed by local bullies. His arm was broken by Su Lu's grandfather during an armed conflict.
