A mountain keeper who raised Cheng Feng after taking him in as a child. He built the two-story house deep in the mountains as his life's work. He had a hard life, fleeing with his parents when young, later marrying and having children who all died. He lived alone for many years until picking up Cheng Feng gave him hope. He passed away a few years after Cheng Feng grew up. Cheng Feng's grandmother is also mentioned as deceased.
