Referred to as Big Brother by Jiang Yingxiao. He has a deep and resonant voice. He is described as illiterate but holds a high status at home. Jiang Yingxiao calls him on the phone for help with watering the green plant and using the bathroom. He seems to be a protective figure to her, though he cannot hear what is happening on her end during the call.
