The male antagonist, a man who betrayed Gu Qiuyue by taking her city return quota and abandoning her for Bai Xiaolian. He is cunning and ruthless, secretly hoarding the Gu family's confiscated treasures in a hidden well. He is struck unconscious by Gu Qiuyue and later rescued by an unknown helper.
