Tang Wanwan's mother, a gentle and soft-spoken woman who contrasts sharply with Wang Shi's aggressive tone. She is devoted to her children and endures beatings rather than surrender Tang Wanwan. After her husband's death, she raises five children alone — Tang Wei (confined to bed), Tang Wanwan, and the eight-year-old twins Tang Xiaoyi and Tang Xiaorou. She is deeply fearful of the Tang family's punishments but fiercely protective of her daughter.
