Male, Huang Qiang's senior brother and apprentice who called him Master. He was a driven journalist who went among common people. In 1989 he investigated Yang Baozong's smuggling crimes but was discovered, had his tongue cut out and four fingers broken. He died while escaping with evidence. He was part of the Three Musketeers of Pengcheng Metropolis Daily along with Huang Qiang and Wang Mingzheng.
