Wife of Feng Dabing and mother of Feng Tiezhu. She is warm and hospitable, taking Tang Lingling into her home. She is deeply concerned about her twenty-five-year-old son remaining unmarried and sees Tang Lingling as a potential daughter-in-law. She is strict with her son but softens her manner when an educated youth is present.
