Zhao Lingshu's grandfather and Chang Huixin's father. He was a master porcelain maker in Qizhou known for his kindness and integrity. Under him, the Chang family's porcelain business peaked, even surpassing official kilns. He was nearly sent to prison when the Lian family sabotaged palace porcelain shipments, but was saved by a bribed palace buyer. He later exposed the Lian family for illegally crafting dragon-motif porcelain and sent their head to prison.
