Cao Dashan's younger sister, whom he raised alone after losing both parents. She fell obsessively in love with Liu Zhezheng at first sight and became increasingly unhinged when her brother prevented her from marrying a soldier. After being rejected by Liu Zhezheng, she acted out through self-harm. She eventually resented her brother for standing between her and Liu Zhezheng, deliberately sabotaged his wound care by diluting medicine and wiping his injury with a filthy handkerchief, causing his death. She showed little concern for her dying brother and was more interested in pursuing Liu Zhezheng.
