Four-year-old posthumous son of Cao Fu, Crown Prince and secret son of the Emperor and Empress Cao. He is a transmigrator who recognizes the alias Zhu Shuo as Fan Zhongyan. Frail but intelligent, he often buries his face in his uncle's arms when shy or startled. He is the central figure of the story.
