A Dayuan General who is secretly from the Chishui Tribe. Thirty years ago during a great drought, the ten-year-old Cao Lingyue disguised himself as a refugee and blended into Dayuan populace, gaining citizen identity. He has been secretly helping the Chishui Tribe eliminate competing tribes using his Dayuan General identity. He and Consort Lan are working together but Cao knows of Consort Lan while Consort Lan does not know of Cao. He volunteered to lead troops against Chishui Tribe to cause trouble from within.
